I was born in Maine, then moved to Alaska in 1978. My first real estate license was issued in August 1997, where I worked for a small family owned business for a short time before going with Coldwell Banker Fortune in Anchorage. In the fall of 2002, my husband and I moved to Las Cruces, New Mexico to be closer to family. It was only natural to immediately get involved in the real estate community in Las Cruces, working with Coldwell Banker deWetter Hovious.

My husband, Keith, and I have been visiting southern New Mexico for many years. Las Cruces was a natural choice to move to. The climate is perfect and it is a great location to travel to and from with both I10 & I25 meeting here. We have a fabulous community to live and work in where the people are warm and friendly. Las Cruces has been discovered over the past few years by different articles written in publications around the country such as Forbes, Inc. Magazine and the New York Times, with a most recent article in Forbes ranking Las Cruces as being one of the top 10 safest cities.

Since moving here, I have also become quiet involved with different aspects of the business. I will be the 2006 President of Women's Council of Realtors, focusing on education. I serve on the Board of Directors for the Las Cruces Assoc of Realtors and will be the 2007 President. I am also a volunteer for several community projects, the Toys for Kids Motorcycle Parade, the Ident-a-Child program, and the Holiday Food Drive, with the Las Cruces Home Builder's Assoc, where I was the recipient of the Chairman's Choice Award for Outstanding Service with the Community Service Project for 2004. In addition I teach new Coldwell Banker Agents a Listing Presentation classes. I am also involved with state association, RANM, projects such as the Stanley H. Mathis Foundation and several Presidential Advisory Groups.

I hold several educational designations & certifications. I am an Accredited Buyer's Representative, a Certified Residential Specialist, an e-Pro Internet Professional, Certified eMarketing Specialist, and Certified with Cendant Mobility and USAA.
